Shady Waters Landscaping is a full-service landscaping company based in Halstead, Kansas, working for homeowners across Newton, Wichita, and the surrounding central Kansas communities. We handle design, installation, and the ongoing care that keeps a yard looking the way it did the day we finished.
What We Do
Most of our work falls into four areas: residential landscaping, hardscaping — patios, walkways, retaining walls, decks and outdoor fireplaces — plantings, and our tree spade service. Equipment Most Landscapers Do Not Have
We run our own 90-inch truck-mounted tree spade. That means we can plant a mature tree, or move one you already have, in a single day — rather than planting a sapling and asking you to wait fifteen years for it to fill in. Very few landscapers in central Kansas can offer it.
How We Work
Every project starts with a conversation and a walk around your property. We work with a certified landscape designer, so you can see a plan before anything is dug. Then our crew does the work, cleans up after itself, and walks the finished project with you.
